Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
*smirks and chuckles a bit then leans on the counter* So what was the deal with Ayn laying in a bloody heap and the pokey new guy in here?
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"Well, I know what happend. But I'll keep my mouth shut on that. Either way she was put in here and Legion found her. Surpisingly he didn't do anything so now she's turning the couch red."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Uhm...Won't she die from blood loss? *he laughs a second then shuts up quick, he turns his head to Am with a slightly different voice* Where is Legion now? I need to talk to him about this.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Walking in, she takes off her jacket and hangs it up on the coat rack. She then moves to the bar and has a seat, staring at the tabletop.
I'm sick of decisions... The last two months of 2003 were nothing but Hell for me. What 2004 will bring, I don't know, but I don't foresee anything overly elaborate about it. *has a sip of sake right from the bottle* I've lost my best friend. Over a guy. The one person who I thought would understand, and I've lost him. It serves me right, I guess. *has another drink* I missed the New Year's Eve bash at the café, I see. Oh well, there'll always be another one next year, right? *smiles* I see that Princess Garnet has returned, fabulous. ^_^ *takes the bottle of sake and shakes it* Oh, out of sake... I wonder if I have enough for another one; not that I should be drinking sake right now. I'll get drunk. *laughs* Who cares? |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"She won't die, not at the moment anyway. Legion is-"
"Right here." Legion raises his hand, he's sitting at the bar. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Hm. That was fairly easy. *he turns to Legion* So what do you have planned for this Girl? It's against the code to have any friendship with a mortal, much less love one. Whats your goal, friend?
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Hayate's quietly listening to the conversations from behind the bar. When a cafe seems to have a patron god, any information is precious.
As for Mister 'Omega factor', Hayate is still interested. He almost wishes he was better at reading people. Still, he decides to keep a distance from him as he appears to know the high Demon |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"First off, you're the one who made a pact with the soul of the body you are currently inhabiting. Secondly, I'm an Archdemon. That means I can break and bend rules of my choosing if I deem it neccesary. Finally, the words 'friendship' and 'love' are empty words to me. Negative words are far more high up in my vocabulary. With the Seven Deadly Sins at the highest. As for my goal, for now I merely work for Rand. Any plans of my own are irrellivant."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
So, it's as if you are sharing a pact with Rand as well, just not binding with him. It seems as though he has more control over your thoughts and power than you yourself do, Legion. And dont give me that crap about being an Archdemon.. *his skin turns deathly gray and eyes red. His hair grows longer, stringy, and black* ..you know as well as I do we were both chosen as Archdemons, I just denied the position and was cast onto this flesh heap. But as for you making something of yourself in Luscifer's kingdom.. *he raises his bottle of wine* Cheers. *he takes a drink from the bottle and sighs*
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"I have more than one boss, but only one leader. It was a disappointment you turned us down. You can Chaos were always rather intresting." Legion raises his bottle and drinks it.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Oh how it was. *he finishes the drink and drops the bottle, shattering it to peices* Now, if you'll excuse me, I must meet with another My Devil Red has cast out. *a black portal opens behind him and pulls him in and it closes fast, the smell of burning flesh and brimstone lingers after his disappearance*
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Rikali shakes her head in disgust. Archdemons thought they were so high and mighty. Noticing the couch's new color, she scowls and binds some of Ayn's wounds with some bandages she just found. "Hayate, you any better at this?" Riki critically eyes her so-so work.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
*YAWRRRRRWHnnn*
Oh, YOU again... and uhh... Ayn? Well, I DO have some minor clerical powers given to me by the goddess of the moon... but... it IS Ayn... Maybe after another liter or so of blood... I mean, wouldn't want to get TOO much on the floor... Though hardwood does go so well with that purpling red stain to it... |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Rikali glares at Kadino. "Either help or shut up, it's irritating enough without you adding to the noise."
((Riki very rude, Kadino. Not me. ^_^)) |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Add to the noise? ADD to the NOISE? My GOD! I don't think I've been so talked to in ages!
Why, that's what a moogle does best! Noise, Comic Relief, Irrefutable Cuteness! You shower me in praises! I'll set off immediately! *Waves a hand at Ayn, various "refreshment*" sounds flutter about, and Ayn hacks up just a tiny little bit more blood* Well, I hope you're happy... now I'll just have to go kill her off again to clear up the Kharma. *Gho, Customers! Need Refreshment? 7:-11 |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
I don't suppose that balancing your karma could be just as easily be accomplished by you losing an arm, Moogle?
Hayate's comment, while quiet, has been carefully modulated to porvide the most menace per decibel. He walks over and examines Ayn, before pulling over a chair I'm not much of a healer, so I guess the Moogle's cure will have to do. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Well, something will have to die... aside from the Main Forum
Hah, it would be funny to watch you try that though... :P |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Things die all the time. I'm sure you could find something appropriate here.
And anyway, the Universe appreciates balance so even if you do nothing, something will happen to restiore balance. In fact, it probably already has. Something to do with Conservation of Energy and all that, I guess |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
The doors to the cafe burst open and in walks a sunken-faced Katayk. Without acknowledging anyone on his way in, he forces his way behind the bar and pulls a bottle of alcohol from the shelves.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Riki's head snaps up from the pillow she was laying on. She stares at Katayk. The one who broke the curse that the Abbis warlord Gale set upon her. The father of her daughter. Her love.
But through Rikali's eyes, Katayk more closely resembles the fear-beast. His alcohol-raveged features are sharply outlined. She stands emotionlessly and draws a dagger, hoping to end the beast's life before it can consume her. The knife thunks into the wall mere inches from Katayk's head. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Katayk turned slowly, unfazed by the sudden attack on him. He places his alcohol on the table and grins at the figure in front of him.
"Rikali. God, it's been a long time." |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Rikali doesn't return Katayk's grin. Even though her battle axe is a mass of molten metal, she isn't without weapons. A second throwing dagger whisks through the air and towards Katayk's throat. "You will not consume me, beast! I will defeat you!" Rikali hisses.
In some sane part of her mind, Riki registers what she has just done. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
His grin disappears as quickly as it had come. He leaps backwards and draws his sword, knocking the dagger upwards into the ceiling.
"What the hell are you doing?" |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
She doesn't answer. In four quick steps, she's on the other side of the bar and slashing at Katayk with a dagger.
Riki's eyes suddenly open up in surprise and love, but they are gone fast, fast enough to be questionable as to if they were even there. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Katayk dodges the dagger attacks and uses to hilt of his sword to connect with the back of her hand. The dagger drops from her grip and Katayk drops to his knees. With a quick sweep of his leg, he knocks Rikali off balance and waits for her to fall.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
She falls flat on her back, hard enough to daze her from immeditatly regaining her feet.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Perfect, he thought as he grabbed her arms and pinned them behind her back. Without anything to bond them with, Katayk did the only thing he could think of at the moment.
He held her hands behind her back and then sat on her. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
She tries to get him off, uselessly. Being trapped helps Riki's sane part of her mind take control. Looking up at Katayk, her eyes are torn with fear, madness, love, and despair. "Katayk...help me."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Katayk sighed quietly and applied more pressure onto her back. He also freed up one of his hands and grabbed the back of her head, softly forcing it downward so she couldn't lift it. Then, leaning down towards her ear, he spoke to her.
"I know I left but I didn't think you'd try to kill me for it..." Katayk obviously thought he had done something to merit this attack. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"No, Katayk...it's this curse. Gale cursed me and I think I'm insane but sometimes I'm not. I don't know where Rose is, your the only one I can trust, please, help me." Her sides heave in and out heavily, Riki is obviously frightened.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Katayk's grip tightens unintentionally.
"You... don't know where Rose is..." He released her entire body at once and rolled over to his side, leaving him now laying parallel to Rikali. "H-how do you lose a child...?" |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"I...I don't know. I haven't seen her since New Myria, she took off. I looked for her, of course, but she doesn't want to be found."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Katayk immediately began to regret his time away from Rikali and Rose. In a matter of seconds Katayk had felt anger, shame, regret, and more anger. He paced the floor of the cafe, muttering angrily to himself.
"Just left... doesn't want to be found... New Myria..." |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
*an electric surge powered through the cafe', testing all the electricity in the building. All the lights cut off then on, off, then on once again. A figure sat in a chair, it's legs perched on the table before it. It's faded trench coat was cast across the back of the chair, white bandages stained red were wrapped around its wrists. It was a man, with a white garb covering some of his nose and mouth with the look of decomposition creeping from under the mask* Funny, isn't it? Everytime you come around trouble barks at your heels, Katayk.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Riki is immediatly on her feet, a dagger in hand. "YOU!"
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
*he looks around, dumbfounded* Who? Oh, me. Ah, yes, me. Me, me, me. *he winks at her and she is sent off of her feet and on her back again* Now, this does not concern you, woman. Butt out.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Katayk doesn't bother turning around, as he already knows who it is.
"I knew you'd be here soon enough." |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Not my fault. You should know that any emotion stronger than your love or friendship with Riki or anyone triggers a sense in me that leads me to you. *he spreads his arms* And here I am. I hear you lost your wittle baby girl.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Riki's face pales. She glances at Katayk. "You...bastard." She spits at the intruder.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Katayk places a hand on the hilt of his sword.
"I suppose you're hear to **** everything up again. Ten years, Sadik. Don't you get tired of my beating you to near-death?" |
